We are Ukrainian musicians, and, jointly with German musicians we have established the non-profit organization UKRAINE.MUSIK.FUTURUM e.V. The goal of the association is to promote classical Ukrainian music in Germany making it more accessible through the facilitators such as broadcasters, social -Media, libraries and universities. 

Classical Ukrainian music is quit unknown in Germany, as it was suppressed for centuries during the years of Russian Empire rule and USSR soviet period, its origins were denied or it was co opted (history of Ukrainian music). Hence it was never recognized as independent. Once again, life and Ukrainian culture are threatened. With our association we want to help preserve the rich heritage of original Ukrainian music and make it accessible to a broad German public.
